Original Matters Finalised at Magistrates Courts with SFV teams: 2020-2021 - 3,260 2021-2022 - 7,256 2022-2023 - 22,775 2023-2024 - 26,889 2024-2025 - 28,782 The increase from 2020–2021 to 2024–2025 is approximately: 783% That’salmost 9 times largerthan the starting point (it's actually 8.828834356). That's an increase that can't be explained without looking at the advantages of a final order, or family violence proceedings, on foot alongside family law proceedings under s102NA of the Family Law Act 1975.
