Field & Lab Scientists - Invite Reporter Onsite Fall-Winter

Hello hello! A question and small request of you science people: Are you or a colleague conducting some long-awaited research this year wish more people knew about? I want to hear about it, potentially come witness your work in action myself, and write about it. I'm piecing together my schedule for the Fall and Winter, and will be setting time aside for reporting trips. This could mean visiting your wet-lab as you poke and prod at some long-running mystery, or joining you in the field while you collect data and explore the unknown. I write about all branches of science. My goal is always to capture an infectious sense of awe and do justice to the messy/fun/frustrating *process* of science. 😬😬 This is my first time making a request like this over LinkedIn so I'm not sure what to expect, but I'd love any and all reposts to cast a wide net. As a writer, there's no experience quite like joining researchers in their world. Even for just a day or two. My work has taken me from clinics in New York to anthropologist in the Southwest to fungal trailblazers in the Arctic. I'm curious what next experiences await.
