Former LAPD Detectives - Sophie David 1991 Murder Case

Was Sophie David ever caught after being wanted in connection with Fekade Ashine’s 1991 killing? I am researching this case for a documentary and trying to confirm how it ended. Fekade Ashine was fatally shot in West Los Angeles on July 10, 1991. A December 1992 Los Angeles Times report said the LAPD wanted Sophie David in connection with his death and that America’s Most Wanted had already profiled her twice. America’s Most Wanted was still showing her as wanted in an August 1, 2009 episode. I have not found any reliable later report confirming that she was arrested, found deceased, or that the case was formally closed.
