I nearly built this just around “deals.” That would have been a mistake. It made sense for private equity, but it would have boxed the conversations in before they had even started. I want to speak to people worth learning from. Some will have built companies, funds, careers or things recognised around the world. Others will still be on the way there. What matters is that they have done, learned or experienced something worth understanding. Different worlds. Similar questions. How do they think? Which decisions changed things?
