Industrial CRE Experts on Gov Land Deals-Tax Impact-Infra for GlobeSt.com

I’m interested in the following questions and how they might apply more broadly to industrial commercial real estate.: 1. How often/when do local governments object to purchases of land or facilities? 2. How frequently are purchases, federal government or not, done in secret? How unusual is this? 3. What are the tax implications for local areas in such purchases? Do they completely lose the tax revenue? 4. In such large projects, who gets the bill for the necessary infrastructure to service the facility? 5. Anything else I’m not asking that would be of interest to those in commercial real estate?
