Irish Charity Volunteers Whose Careers Began Through Volunteering

I need your help with this... I'm working on a piece on how volunteering with a charity can lead to a career and would love to speak to a range of people whose career path has been influenced by their charity work. I'm planning to speak to a young electrician who decided that the electrical trade was for her after she tried her hand at simple electrical tasks while volunteering with the Niall Mellon Trust in South Africa.
