Irish Cyclists - Solo Crashes Without Gardaí - Hospital Treatment

Cyclists – have you had a crash that didn’t involve Gardaí? Hello all, Jack here - I'm a journalist writing about road safety. I’m working on a piece about road injuries, particularly among cyclists, and I’m trying to better understand incidents that don’t always show up in official statistics. I’m interested in hearing from anyone who has had a cycling incident where: there was no other vehicle involved (e.g. fall, loss of control, road surface, etc.) or it seemed minor at the time. And ones that Gardaí were not called to the scene for but you later needed hospital treatment, or experienced longer-term effects (e.g. concussion, brain injury, ongoing symptoms) If that sounds like you, please get in touch.
