Irish Employees - Workplace Wellness Programme Impact & Charity Work

I'm still looking for case studies for an upcoming Irish Examiner piece in which I look at how effective workplace wellness programmes are (or aren't, as the case may be). An Oxford University paper published in 2024 looked at data from 46,336 workers in the UK and concluded that people who participated in them were no better off than colleagues who didn’t You can read the study here: https://lnkd.in/enncjArw In the case of some interventions – resilience and stress management training in particular – they appeared to be worse off. The only intervention that seemed to show a positive impact was when workers were given the opportunity to do charity of volunteer work. I’d love to people here in Ireland who have participated in workplace wellness programmes in their workplace about the impact (or lack of impact) those programmes had.I’m *particularly* interested in hearing from people who have been involved in initiatives that had a charity or volunteer aspect.
