As I conduct the interviews and research for my upcoming automated job search article/study, the same few phrases keep popping up:
“Agism is real”
“I felt dehumanized”
“I was scared and depressed”
“The recruiters are ghosting me”
“The human needs to be more in the loop, and sooner”
98% of my interviewees landed their most recent job via networking, but also spent between 4-8 hours a day submitting applications.
Amongst my participants: the average response to online applications were 3%-10%, and most were rejections. Interviews are hovering around 1%.
I’m seeking data, answers and most importantly novel solutions that can be deployed real time!
