LA Residents Needed for Social Media Documentary Case Studies

Looking for subjects for social media doc series about LA residents Hi everyone, My name is Maddy, I’m working on a short documentary project about real Angelenos and where we are at in 2025. We’re looking to feature a few people who are open to sharing their stories on camera. I’d love to connect with anyone who fits one of these: The Rebuilder: Someone impacted by the recent Palisades fire who is rebuilding their home or community. We’re especially interested in the real challenges, frustrations with the process, and the moments of community support and hope. The New Entrepreneur: Anyone who recently opened a small business in L.A. (any type — coffee shop, boutique, studio, service-based, etc.). We want to highlight the hustle, the permitting/financial challenges, and what makes it rewarding. The Industry Professional: People in the entertainment industry (crew, writers, gig workers, freelancers) who are navigating the changing industry and high cost of living. The Lifelong Angeleno: Neighbors who have lived in L.A. for decades and can speak to how the city has changed, and why they still love it. If you or someone you know might be a good fit, please comment here or DM me. Happy to share more details privately! We’re looking for authentic stories. You can also email me at [email redacted] This is an unpaid opportunity, and perfect for someone who has a story to share, opinions that should be heard and wants to be involved in civic discussions with a public figure! Thank you! Maddy
