Lancaster West Residents - Communal Heating Stuck On During Heatwave

Remember the London Climate Action Week heatwave? Imagine if you also couldn't switch off your communal heating as temperatures hit 35 degrees - this happened at the Lancaster West estate in Kensington and Chelsea last month. Ongoing upgrades for heating systems to reduce their costs and environmental impact will be important for residents in winter, as is making sure they are reliable and don't break down. Increasingly social housing providers will need to look at air-conditioning solutions too as part of climate resilience planning. I'm also interested in how the council can help more with heat pumps.
