Litigants Who Endured Full Litigation - Emotional Toll

I'm writing something I've wanted to write for a long time. This time it isn’t about the law alone or about process or procedure or which clause to include in your contract. It is about what it actually feels like to be in a dispute. The 2am anxiety. The way it takes over conversations you're supposed to be having about something else. The mental load of carrying a case for months, sometimes years while trying to run a business or a family or just a life. I'm authoring a piece on the emotional cost of litigation and why dispute resolution is, at its core, a mental health issue that nobody in the legal industry talks about much. For this, I want to speak to real people. If you have gone through a litigation from start to finish as a litigant, not a quick settlement, the whole thing, I’d love 20 minutes of your time. Your experience will be anonymised if you prefer. I just want to understand what it was really like. DM me if you're open to a conversation. And if this resonates or if you know someone who's lived through this, tag them or share this. The more voices, the more honest the piece will be. Thanks in advance.
