Has anyone been told to “come back sober” before they can access mental health care in Ireland? Hi, I’m Andrew, a journalism student with Limerick Voice (University of Limerick). I’m working on a feature about dual diagnosis access. This is about people with both mental health needs and substance use or addiction who felt blocked from psychiatric or mental health support unless they were “stable” or “sober” first. I’m looking to speak to people with lived experience. Anonymity is available.
