Summer's my least favorite season in this city. Everyone rushes in, it gets loud, and Portland stops feeling like a place people actually live in. Fall's the whole reason to be here. Sweater weather. Magic season. This city does something in October it just doesn't do the rest of the year, and if I could bottle it and have it year round, I would.
