Mayo Clinic Patients Nationwide - Self-Pay, GFE & Pre-Service Deposits

Research Request: Mayo Clinic Patients (All Locations) – Self-Pay, Good Faith Estimates & Pre-Service Deposits I'm researching how Mayo Clinic has handled patient financial classifications and pre-service payment requirements since 2022. I'm trying to understand whether patients at different Mayo locations have had similar experiences. I'm looking to hear from patients who: Were classified or treated as self-pay (whether by choice or by Mayo Clinic). Received a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) before treatment. Were required to pay a pre-service deposit (often around $5,000 or more) before receiving care. Were unable to pay the required deposit. Had an appointment delayed, postponed, or canceled because they could not pay the required deposit. Were asked to make a substantial deposit despite having health insurance.
