Men for Globe and Mail Etiquette- Date Payment Expectations

Bit of a hail mary source request! For the Globe & Mail story I posted about last week, about the etiquette around who pays on dates, I'm looking to speak with men specifically. (I have spoken to a handful of women - thank you!!) There seems to be a growing discussion on social media that men should pick up the tab on dates.
