Minnesota Acts of Generosity for The New York Times Report
I’ve spent the week talking to clergy members and community organizers in Minnesota. They’ve all told me the same thing, that despite the divisions — the conflicts between protesters and immigration agents, who killed two American citizens this month — people in Minnesota are connected. And they are showing up for each other in generous ways, delivering groceries, babysitting and giving rides to strangers.
Tell us about an act of generosity you witnessed in the past few weeks.
