NGO & IGO Staff in Middle-Income Countries - Development Cuts Impact
OPEN CALL:
In an attempt to revitalise my substack, I am doing an open call for participants who have experience in NGOs/IGOs/related organisations that have been affected by USAID or other development financing cuts. Particularly, if you have experience with middle-income countries, especially at the country-level, I would love to speak to you!
I am (hoping to) develop a series of short essays focusing on the underrepresented impacts of development financing cuts. As development finance grows increasingly tighter, and is increasingly channelled towards visible fragile, conflict-affected contexts, what of other less-visible communities that rely on development financing? This aims to follow a theory-building approach to establish theoretical frameworks around organisation decision-making amidst these impacts, and to further contextualise these changes.
Unfortunately at this time, I am unable to offer any compensation, though you have my sincerest gratitude for your participation.
Note: Research is conducted entirely independently of any association, organisation or institute. Opinions expressed represent my personal view, not of any other institution.
