NYC Niche Subcultures - Short Social Doc Films

NYC filmmaker looking for interesting people/subcultures to document Hi. I’m a documentary shooter/editor based in Brooklyn. I’ve got a lot of free time this year before I head to South America for the other films I’m working on, and I want to spend it making short documentary style films for social media. Looking for interesting people, communities, or passions, the weirder or more niche the better. Fight clubs, drifters, underground scenes, obsessive hobbyists, people doing something unusual for a living, subcultures most people don’t know exist. If you’re doing something worth watching, or you know someone who is, I want to hear about it. I have the equipment and this is unpaid, low-pressure, and collaborative.
