NYC Zine Makers on Pandemic-Era Creations for Thesis Interviews

Help me out with my master's thesis on zines! Hi all! My name is Ever, and I am a master's student at the University of Missouri conducting research on zines during my spring visit to New York. My thesis focuses on zine making during the COVID-19 quarantine of 2020 & 2021, specifically on how zines were used to bridge gaps created by social distancing and stay-at-home ordinances. Zines are a very understudied area of journalism, but — just like probably all of you on this subreddit — I understand their importance in information dissemination and meaning-making. My end goal is to compile all of the information I receive into its very own zine to be published with industry journals! I'm looking to interview 10-12 zine makers based in NYC or nearby who made zines during quarantine that focused on topics related to the pandemic (including but not limited to isolation, connecting with people, mental health, and public health).
