One door/book closes and another opens. After finishing up at Education Perfect, I'm now heading to India in October on an Asia New Zealand Foundation Media Travel Grant, spending a month reporting on former Black Caps coach Gary Stead's second season coaching Andhra Pradesh in the Ranji Trophy — and on the broader story of New Zealand-India business and trade ties under the new FTA. Already, my contacts in this space show we are coming closer every day: agriculture, education, and manufacturing are just the start.
