Parents Near Fresno High School - Enrollment Decline & Magnet Choices

Parents in the Fresno High region: Fresnoland wants to hear from you! Hello r/Fresno, my name is Diego Vargas, I am Fresnoland’s education equity reporter! I am looking for parents around the Fresno High School neighborhood to talk to for a story exploring the school’s enrollment obstacles. Right now, I’m working on a story that seeks to answer why Fresno Unified’s oldest high school is experiencing some of the most severe student enrollment decline in the district and what both the district and the community can do about it. Part of my story’s scope has to do with student interest in nearby magnet schools, so if your student isn’t high school-age yet or you live in the neighborhood but your student does not attend FHS, your perspective is still very valuable to my reporting!
