Patient Safety Experts & Family Carers - Corridor Care

I’m currently working on a short piece exploring corridor care from the perspective of a family carer, particularly what happens when a patient struggles to communicate and relies on a relative or carer to help advocate for them. I’m looking to speak briefly with someone with professional or research experience in emergency care, patient safety, older people’s care, communication needs or carer involvement in healthcare. I’d particularly like to explore: What happens when a patient relies on a family member to help communicate their needs, but the environment makes it difficult for that carer to remain alongside them?
