People With Recurrent Sleep Paralysis - Experiences & Triggers
What do you wish people understood about sleep paralysis?
I’ve had sleep paralysis for over 12 years, and I’m now doing deeper research into what people actually experience, beyond the basic explanation of “your brain wakes up before your body.”
Because honestly, that explanation doesn’t fully capture how terrifying and lonely it can feel.
I’d love to hear from people here:
What do you wish more people understood about sleep paralysis?
I’m also hoping to interview a few people who experience it, just to better understand patterns, triggers, fear, recovery, and what kind of support people actually need.
No medical advice, no judgment, and no pressure. Just trying to listen and understand the condition the right way...
