Now answer this: if you had 90,000 hours, what would you do? who would you spend it with? Most of us pause at that second question. And yet it's really the same question, just a difference in magnitude. We spend an average of 90,000 hours working over the course of our lives. That makes work the longest relationship most of us will ever have. And still, so few of us stop to ask: is this relationship working? That question is exactly why I launched How's Work Lab. How's Work Lab is a community space where I have honest conversations with people across different jobs, careers, and professions about their relationship with work, and offer advice on how to make that relationship work better. It's for anyone who has ever felt unengaged, stuck, unfulfilled, or uncertain about their time at work.
