Where is project delivery genuinely getting better? I think our industry has an opportunity to improve the way we deliver projects. There are brilliant people, ideas and technology out there already challenging how things are done. I want to work with them, bring those ideas together and give the best thinking a platform. I have had some really interesting conversations over the summer and am looking forward to sharing them with you in the coming weeks. And there were some fascinating debates yesterday at PropTech Connect, discussing some of the technology looking to change the way our industry works. A huge thank you to Gary Holmes at FPC Global for getting me along. Technology is an important part of innovation but it is not the only strand. It’s in the way we lead teams. The way we make decisions. The way we procure, plan and manage projects. The ideas coming from the next generation. And the technology that can help us do all of those things better. That’s the mission behind The Project Works. A new Woodward Projects initiative focused on finding and sharing the views, ideas and innovation that can move project delivery forward.
