RNA Biotech Founders in India - Building RNA Therapeutics Ecosystem

India is entering the RNA era. But are we ready for it? I have been thinking about this question lately. India already has many of the ingredients: • Strong scientific talent • A growing biotech ecosystem • Deep chemistry & manufacturing expertise • A large pharmaceutical industry • Increasing interest in siRNA, mRNA, oligonucleotides and gene editing So, on paper, we should be well positioned. But RNA therapeutics is not just about discovering an RNA molecule. The real challenge is building the ecosystem around it. Sequence → Synthesis → Analytics → Delivery → CMC → Manufacturing → IP → Regulatory → Clinical Development → Commercialization And here is what interests me: India may already have several pieces of this puzzle. But do we have the pieces CONNECTED together? That question is going to be the focus of a new series I’m starting: 🇮🇳 India’s RNA Revolution Over the coming posts, I’ll explore: → Where India is already strong → Where we are still behind → The RNA talent gap → Can India become an oligonucleotide manufacturing hub? → Is our RNA IP strategy strong enough? → What can Indian biotech learn from global RNA players? → And ultimately, where I believe India’s biggest RNA opportunity lies. This won't be another series explaining what RNA is. I want to look at the Indian RNA ecosystem through the lens of science, technology, manufacturing, IP and business. And I want to hear from people actually building this ecosystem. So let me start with one question: What is the biggest missing piece in India's RNA therapeutics ecosystem? Science? Talent? Manufacturing? IP? Funding? Or something else? 👇 I’d genuinely like to hear your perspective. #RNATherapeutics #RNA #IndiaBiotech #Oligonucleotides #Biotechnology #FutureOfMedicine
