Last Minute Artist Call - Compilation CD & Playlist Hey Artists and Bands! I’m running a taste-making and music marketing project connected to a small skatewear brand as part of my final-year university studies in which I’m eager to put more people on your music! Aesthetically, we’re focusing on ‘music to skate to’, which in our case looks like a rock-centric/rock-adjacent sound. We’re already working with around 12 bands and artists, a few of which have been hard to reach recently, and as a result, we’re seeking a couple more bands to get involved with the project fairly last minute. We’re looking to feature one of your released songs on a soon-to-be published and promoted playlist. Additionally, we’re putting together a small and single-run compilation CD that I am both selling at my upcoming final showcase, as well as mailing a copy to each artist (where possible) for their involvement. All artists involved are being promoted on Instagram with stylised artwork and I plan on running a small number of paid ads in that space in the coming weeks.
