Rural Americans - AI Impact on Local Hospitals & Care
Media interview request on AI in U.S. rural healthcare
Do you live in rural America? If so, I'd love to interview you for a story I'm working on!
My name is Arielle Zionts, I'm a rural health reporter at KFF Health News, a U.S.-based national, nonprofit media outlet. You can learn more about KFF Health News here and see the kinds of stories I write here.
For this interview, I'd ask what you think about artificial intelligence (AI) in rural healthcare.
For example, do you think AI will help keep rural hospitals open and make it easier for rural people to access care and improve their health? Where does AI fall on your list of priorities for what your local hospital and clinic needs? Would you (or do you already) use health-related AI, like wearing an AI-backed smartwatch or other "wearable" that sends data to your doctor? Or letting your doctor use AI to "listen" to your appointment to help them save time with their notes/charting? I can let you know more about these and other kinds of AI health tech if you aren't famliar with them.
If you're interested in doing an interview please send me a DM or email me at [email redacted].
Thank you!
