Software Engineers - Annoyance From Constant App Ideas

Software engineers, is it annoying to have people come to you with "app ideas" all the time? I'm a Business Insider reporter working on a story on the type of person who always insists they have an idea for a killer app/startup if they could just get it off the ground.
