Story Sources on Travel, Environment & Tech in Colombia-Nicaragua-Guardian

* Seeking pitches/ideas on Colombia, Nicaragua, Panama and Costa Rica * I am looking to work from Colombia for several months from January before heading north up to Nicaragua and am looking for stories to cover from these places. These can be about travel (for example, in Mexico this year I explored the country's first long-distance hiking trail for The Times, and the concerns of overtourism in Bacalar for The Standard); environmental (for the Guardian Global Development desk I spent three days digging into one man's tree-planting mission in the Western Highlands of Guatemala); or tech/innovation (I'm currently working on a story for the Guardian on the innovations being used to help find some of Mexico's missing people) and business related. Any leads/contacts etc would be great. I am interested in stories rather than hearing that an NGO/company exists, for example. What's the story? Either DM or pop ideas below.
