Students 17-25 Facing Job Search Barriers for Toronto Star Youth Unemployment Story
Journalist: story on youth unemployment and struggles finding work
Hi there,
I’m a reporter with the Toronto Star working on a story about youth unemployment in Canada. I’m hoping to interview students aged 17-25 who are struggling to find entry-level work despite doing everything like sending out resumes, going to job fairs, networking, etc.
I’m looking into how artificial intelligence and new technologies are cutting many of the jobs young people typically rely on.
If this reflects your experience, I’d love to hear your story. Your insights would be invaluable in showing just how challenging it is to find work right now for youth.
Please DM me if you’d like to be interviewed, and I’ll share my work email to confirm my identity and set up a quick phone call. Thanks so much in advance!
