TCC Students - Dropped From Classes Missing Content

Tidewater Community College System Failure? A friend of mine who is enrolled in TCC was dropped from all but one of her classes without notice or any kind of refund. The lectures and content for the class she is still enrolled in are all missing from the site where her professor said she had posted them. She has been trying for days to get in touch with anybody at TCC who can tell her what's going on. She has heard through the grape-vine that this is happening to all of the other students in these and other classes without any kind of explanation. I just found out that there was a security breach and shutdown of Canva for TCC in May. I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it. Alternatively, since TCC has introduced AI tools into the financial aid system (and possibly other systems), my money is on AI failure as the culprit. I am seeking sources and making preparations to write an article about the incident. Community college students deserve the same resources and education as students at any other college, and I am concerned about how this will affect TCC and the wider community.
