Teachers on Classroom Smartphone Bans for Globe and Mail Report

How effective are smartphone bans in the classroom? Hi all, apologies in advance if this kind of post isn't allowed. I'm a reporter at the Globe and Mail and I'm looking to interview some teachers about smartphone bans in the classroom. Were students less distracted in class? Or did they find sneaky ways to use their phones anyway? Did it affect how lessons were delivered? Are these bans really making a difference? I'd love to chat with some teachers in this group! If you're interested, and you would be okay with me using your first and last name in the article, send me a DM or email me at [email redacted]. Also, happy to answer any questions in the comments. Thank you!!!
