Texas SNAP Recipients & Non-H-E-B Store Staff - SNAP Changes Apr 2026

SNAP Changes Hello, I’m a student news reporter for the University Star at Texas State University. I’ve been working really hard to find some sources for a story about the SNAP changes that took place on April 1st, 2026. Would anyone who is a SNAP recipient OR does NOT work at H-E-B be open to doing a brief interview with me? Side note: I’m open to also interviewing employees of places that accept SNAP and Lone Star Cards, because I know you guys have been having to make adjustments as well. Thanks!!!
