Last week, URA announced that all rent payments must now be invoiced on the EFRIS e-tax platform. Tax authorities across the region are making electronic invoicing and reporting mandatory and businesses still treating this as a future problem are quietly losing ground, while breaking the law. But here is the reframe worth making: compliance is not a separate burden bolted onto your business.
