UK Consulting Firms-Clients-AI Fee Impact Sources for Financial Times

AI, the pyramid model and falling consulting fees? Media request for comment - Financial Times article. The Financial Times has commissioned me to write an analysis article on how, as management consulting firms lean more on AI, their business clients are demanding/will demand a reduction in consulting fees. I think it's a really interesting subject. I'm pretty sure people have some strong views on it! NB: My article is focused on UK management consulting firms. Who I'm looking to talk to: - A couple of UK businesses who say they've demanded/will demand that their UK management consultant firm cuts fees/changes it's fees to reflect AI use - 2-3 management consulting firms who do business in the UK (How AI is changing/will change their fees; or maybe it won't? As AI automates a growing proportion of consulting tasks - data analysis, idea generation, strategy advice … how are firms justifying to clients their fees and any fee increases? Are clients requesting/demanding a reduction in fees or hinting that they will next year? Have any consultants cut their fees recently in response to greater AI use and client requests?) - An AI/tech expert with deep knowledge of how consulting firms are using AI in their business, estimates for how much time/productivity benefits AI creates, whether consultants are adjusting their fees in response to greater AI use If you meet one of the criteria above, please email me: [email redacted] In your pitch email, please let me know in four-five brief paragraphs: - What your company does in language a 10-year-old would understand - Why they're the right expert to comment for the FT article (rather than hundreds of other similar experts/businesses. Please answer the "so what?" and "why now?" questions) - What the expert can say - 3-4 bullet points - Any case studies/real-life anecdotes to back up broad claims - Any recent, new and proprietary information/research that are relevant to the key issues in my article I'm looking to do interviews in the next few weeks and early January. What I DON'T want: Generic, self-serving comment from tech suppliers with a few AI product features who don't specialise in the consulting market, haven't read this post properly and just want to plug their average product.
