Social media scams Hi! I work in PR and I’m currently working on a piece about people in the UK who have lost money after booking cosmetic surgery or a cosmetic procedure with a clinic they found online or through social media. I’d really like to speak to anyone who paid a deposit or the full cost of a procedure, but then had the treatment cancelled, struggled to receive a refund, or was ignored by the provider. The questions would mainly focus on how you found the provider, what happened after you paid and what you think others should look out for when booking a procedure. Everything will be handled sensitively. Ideally, you would be willing to be named and potentially pictured as part of the coverage.
