UK Pub-Goers Parents & Non-Parents - Children Bans - The Guardian

A growing number of pubs in the UK are restricting or banning children, with some landlords citing safety concerns, changing atmospheres, and lost trade. Others argue that pubs should remain welcoming community spaces for people of all ages. We want to hear from pub-goers, both parents and non-parents, about their experiences and views on this issue. Do you think children should be allowed in pubs? If you are a parent, how do you navigate taking children into these spaces? Have you ever felt either unwelcome or welcomed with children by pub landlords, staff and punters? If you don’t have children, how do you feel about their presence in pubs? Have you noticed changes to the atmosphere or experience? Please share your experience.
