US ADA Website Accessibility Plaintiff - Small Business Impact

Looking to talk to a plaintiff in an ADA Website Accessibility Case Hi- please let me know if this isn’t allowed, but ’m working on an article for a British publication about small businesses in the USA dealing with these cases and am trying to understand the process that lands the cases in courts. Given how many sites there are , I’m wondering if the lawyers are finding the sites that get sued or the plaintiffs? Are the plaintiffs initiating contact with lawyers or vice versa? If lawyers fees are all that is covered, do plaintiffs end up remunerated at all if there’s a settlement? Have these cases led to sites generally becoming more accessible over the last decade? Curious to hear thoughts here, but I’d ultimately love to ultimately talk in real time on the phone. I don’t have to use full name. (Full disclosure: I dealt with a suit that was brought against my own online store and learned a lot about how the issues at hand because of it. Now I’m trying to understand the parts that are unknowable to me, as the defendant, so as to get a better picture of the whole story. I reached out to the attorney and plaintiff in my case but they didn’t want to talk.) Thank you.
