US Bereaved Adults - Funeral Debt & Financial Strain

Did a loved one's death leave you facing a major financial cost or difficult money decision? I'm looking to interview people in the US for Business Insider about the financial pressures that come with losing someone. Maybe you took on debt to pay for a funeral, spent thousands on repatriation, or chose cremation or a cheaper send-off because you couldn't afford the final send-off you wanted. I'm particularly interested in experiences where a loss meant taking out a loan, making a significant sacrifice, changing your plans, or finding an unexpected way to manage the costs.
