US Regular Drivers - E15 Gas Bill & What's In Your Tank

Ok this one's not about freelancing, it's about my other hat: journalism. I'm writing a piece about the E15 gas bill that's headed for a Senate vote, and what's actually in your tank when you fill up. Here's what got me curious: there's a whole corner of the internet convinced someone is secretly changing their gas. Tanks not going as far. Different smell at the pump. Some of it's misinformation, tbh. Some of it isn't. And most people (myself included, before I started reporting this) have no idea what ethanol actually does to their car, their wallet, or the environment. So I'm looking for one more voice for the piece: a regular driver, not an expert, who's noticed something feel off with their gas lately, or who just has questions about what's actually in it.
