Daily Texan reporter seeking student comment on Lady Bird Lake Trail additions Hey guys! I'm a reporter for The Daily Texan. I'm making this post as I'm working on a story about new sections that were added to the Ann and Roy Butler Trail (also known as the Lady Bird Lake/Town Lake trail) just south of UT. For context, the City of Austin is unveiling a new bridge and underpass on the trail to fill a "long-standing gap" in its route, seeking to offer "a safe, scenic route on the east side of the lake." For anyone who frequents the trail -- especially on its east end closer to Riverside -- I'd love to hear your thoughts about the new bridge and underpass, as well as how your experience using the trail has been.
