Wollongong Drivers - Mobile Parking Enforcement Ticket Errors

Faulty Parking Compliance Hi everyone, Wollongong Council parking inspectors are trialling new technology that takes photos of cars’ position and license plates instead of marking the tyres. https://www.wollongong.nsw.gov.au/council/news/articles/2026/jan-2026/council-to-trial-mobile-enforcement-system-to-tackle-parking-compliance-challenge I recently heard of an experience where a parking ticket was incorrectly issued because the Parking Compliance system incorrectly flagged the car next to identical looking trees.
