Do share some examples when you had an experience that was a micro act of feminism. Such instances add so much value to the entire empowerment discourse that you begin to see it beyond a particular label. It reaffirms the thought that women empowerment is beyond any tags. It exists in the cracks. It exists in our way of being. And hence, it’s through these small acts that it gets revitalised. 2) Moral Policing: I’m sure all go you have seen the video of a college student from Gujarat who was booed for her choice of song at a college event. The song was deemed “inappropriate” by college authorities. However, she had to to through a lot of mental stress post that. There are many such cases where girls’ conduct has often been questioned. From their choice of outfit to their music taste, everything is always scrutiny, as if their existence depended on how many morally “appropriate” social parameters they meet.
