Women in STEM - Podcast Careers, Challenges & Advice for Girls

I have a scout currently working toward her Girl Scout Gold Award, which is the highest achievement in Girl Scouts. For her Gold Award, she is creating a podcast that highlights the real stories of women in STEM, how they got to where they are, the challenges they’ve faced, and the advice they would give to younger girls who are interested in similar paths. This project is really important to her because she's seen how easy it is for girls to feel discouraged from pursuing STEM when they don’t see clear or relatable examples of people like them in those fields. She would love to include 'YOU' in this project by interviewing you for one of her podcast episodes. The conversation would be very relaxed and focused on your personal journey. Some of the topics could include: What initially sparked your interest in STEM Your path to your current career Challenges or obstacles you’ve faced along the way How you built confidence and navigated those experiences Advice you would give to younger girls interested in STEM Including questions specific to your field The goal is to keep the conversation engaging and accessible, especially for a younger audience, while still sharing meaningful and honest insights.
