Women Who Moved To London - Stories of Reinvention & Belonging

Looking to speak with women who moved to London from elsewhere! Hi everyone, I'm an Australian creative travelling to London later this year and I'm currently developing a personal portrait project exploring the experiences of women who have moved to London and built a life away from where they started. I'm interested in stories of moving countries, starting over, finding community, loneliness, ambition, reinvention, belonging, and everything in between. The project will combine photography, recorded conversations, written stories, and a series of painted portraits. My aim is to create an intimate collection of women's experiences rather than a traditional documentary. I'm still in the research and planning stages, but I'd love to connect with women who: • Moved to London from another city or country • Have been in London for any length of time • Would be open to sharing their experience Even if you're not interested in participating, I'd love to hear what the move was really like for you.
