Young Adults 35 & Under - Problematic Stocks & Options Trading

Journalist seeking young people who've struggled with stock/options trading Hi everyone -- I'm a reporter for Bloomberg News, where I cover issues of equality and money. (Posting here with the mods' blessing!) I’m working on a story about the growing numbers of young people (especially young men) who are engaged in high-risk financial market trading (stocks, options, etc.) -- activity that I think most here would call gambling. I'm looking to speak with people age \~35 and younger who've struggled with problematic trading behavior -- I'd like to learn more about why you were drawn to this kind of trading, how you came to see it as a problem, and the struggles you've faced/are still facing in trying to stop. What does the public needs to know about what drives young people to problematic trading behavior and keeps them hooked? How do these things differ from other forms of gambling or gaming (if at all)?
