Young People Under 18 in UK - Gambling-Related Harm Recovery

I’m the UK-based coordinator for a documentary produced bya South Korean television broadcaster, about youth gambling harms and prevention education. The documentary explores how the UK responds to gambling-related harm among young people through prevention, education, treatment, and support services. Youth gambling and online gambling-related harm are becoming an increasing concern in Korea, and we hope to learn from the UK’s experience. We are currently hoping to speak withyoung people under 18 in the UK who have experienced gambling-related harm and are now in recovery or in a more stable situation. Young people are welcome to contact me privately for an initial confidential conversation. Parents or guardians of a young person who may be willing to share their experience are also very welcome to get in touch. As this project involves minors, any filming or formal participation would only take place with the full consent of a parent or legal guardian and through appropriate safeguarding procedures. There is no pressure to agree to filming during the initial conversation. Participation would involve anin-person filmed interview with our production team.
