Vienna Social Entrepreneurs - In-Person Podcast Changemaker Journeys

I’m looking for interview guests based in Vienna for my flagship podcast #impact - hashtagimpact.com And here's the story behind it... When I launched #impact in Hong Kong back in 2017, I recorded EVERY conversation in person. It was my rule. My non-negotiable. Then I moved to the Hong Kong suburbs, had my second kid and recording in person became trickier. Then Covid hit, I had my third kid and recording in person was now impossible. So after that, I stuck to recording online and I appreciate what that has made possible SO MUCH. It made the podcast much easier to produce and meant I could talk to people all over the world. I will definitely continue recording online as well. But I’ve been missing the magic of sitting across from another human being, putting the microphones on the table and having a proper conversation in person SO MUCH. So I’d love to bring some of that in-person audio magic back. I’m looking for guests who are: * Based in Vienna (or willing to meet me in Vienna) * Running, building or working for a social impact business, social enterprise, an NGO, or a social impact initiative * Comfortable speaking English * Open to meeting me in person, either at your workplace or your favourite café * Open to going beyond the usual interview questions and reflecting on what your own changemaker journey actually means to you: the hard moments, the doubts, the lessons, and the reason why you keep going. What do you get? A conversation on a top 5% globally ranking podcast that has been advocating for and celebrating voices for social good since 2017. A space to tell your story, in your words, in your voice, and to share not just what you do, but what it actually means to you. Here’s what a few past guests have said: “𝘙𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘢’𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘶𝘳𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦. 𝘖𝘩, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘢 𝘩𝘶𝘨𝘦 𝘴𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘦.” Please help me spread the word and let me know who you’d love to hear from on #impact. And yes, you can absolutely nominate yourself. :) Who should I be talking to? ++++++++++++++++++++ 📷 Photo credit: WLAB | Club Wheelock x The DO - one of my favourite live podcast recordings we got to do for #impact in Hong Kong. Chefs in German Fine-Dining & Michelin Kitchens - Working Conditions

[Mod-approved] German public broadcaster (ARD) researching working conditions in fine-dining & Michelin-star kitchens – looking to hear from chefs Hi r/Chefit, I spoke with the mod team beforehand and they kindly made an exception to the no-research rule for this post – thanks to them for that. I'm Hannah, a journalist working for ARD, Germany's public broadcaster. We're researching working conditions in German fine-dining and Michelin-level kitchens: hours, pay, hierarchy and the culture on the pass, the "passion as payment" trade-off, and where the line between hard work and abuse gets crossed. Even though the focus is Germany, I know many chefs here have worked across borders or have a clear read on the industry, so I'd genuinely value hearing from you – whether you've worked in German kitchens or want to share your experience from neighbouring countries (Austria, Switzerland etc). What I'm looking for: people who've worked in fine-dining/Michelin star kitchens and are willing to share their experience: on the record, on background, or fully anonymous, whatever you're comfortable with. No obligation to appear on camera. How to reach me: share your experiences here in the comments or contact me privately at [email redacted]. I'm happy to verify who I am first and send you a copy of my press card or an email from my official editorial address. Source protection is taken seriously, and nothing gets used without your consent.
